School Club Innovation Toolkit SMKBKK

LAPORAN KURSUS SCHOOL CLUB INNOVATION TOOLKIT

Pada 23hb Ogos 2013 Hari Jumaat bermula jam 1.30 petang, Kursus School Club Innovation Toolkit telah diadakan di dewan SMK Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu. Kursus ini telah dihadiri oleh seramai 200 pelajar SMK Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu yang terpilih dan dibantu oleh 20 orang guru. Kursus School Club Innovation Toolkit ini ditaja oleh Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia dimana SMK Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu terpilih sebagai salah satu sekolah daripada 3 sekolah menengah di Sabah dan 102 sekolah di seluruh Malaysia. Terdapat 3 toolkit yang disediakan oleh Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia iaitu kereta graviti, kereta bermotor dan kereta berkabel. Ketiga-tiga toolkit ini memberikan cabaran kepada pelajar untuk berfikir secara kreatif dan meningkatkan keupayaan pelajar dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Ternyata pelajar dapat menyahut cabaran ini sekaligus objektif kursus ini tercapai setelah melibatkan diri dalam program ini.

Btw, this is the (I think) the second kursus I've conducted in school.. The first was Kursus Kepimpinan Pengawas 2009! huhuu.. Actually my partner in-crime yang bertungkus lumus juga conduct this kursus ( Janet Mak ) hehe She's a very hardworking and organised person :) Thanks Janet.hehehe...lenkali buat lg k.hahaha

Okau, mula2 saya sm Janet terpilih pigi kursus "Teacher Empowerment Program" di Grand Borneo Hotel on the 5th- 7th July 2013, then sana kami  kena suru buat semua toolkit yang ada, kena bagi motivation, and semua2 yang perlu belajar kalu mo buat kursus ini.. Ble rujuk ni website Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia 

Ms. Nadia from SMK Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu said, “After the program, I have confidence in myself during the process of building the model, by building up my confidence to help and teach my students to make them think in an innovative and creative way. I hope this program can be continue in future and could be reach out to more schools as well as in order to educate the teachers and the students to be more creative and innovative.”

Then, lepas kursus kena buat kursus juga la untuk pelajar.. Seramai 200 pelajar dan 20++ guru terlibat :)

Nasib semua berjalan dengan lancar ( Thank God ) 

Walaupun penat dan banyak kerja dibuat, berbaloi juga la. :) Apapun, harap2 berterusan dan ada la menang-menang lagi kan :) 

Apapun, I would like to express my honest Appreciation and Big Thank You kepada sesiapa yang terlibat, without you all, this thing cannot be done.. Jasamu tetap dikenang :)  (You know who you are )

Taik hidung

Ada cerita lawak la ni hari..hoho...

Tadi lepas abis mengajar d kelas 2 Lavender, and on the way balik bilik guru, ada la satu student lelaki (yg dari kelas 2 Lavender tu.. ) bjalan seiringan dgn sya sambil mengunyah2..then, the dialog goes like this: 

Me    : Apa ko makan tu?
The student showed me "kerupuk kacang hijau" <---- kerupuk ka tu? kacang hijau yg kena jual utk snack tu ba..and he said : "masin la cikgu "

Me    : Ba ada taik hidung tu... ( saja mau main2 sama dorg... )

Skali on the spot, dia buang tu kacang hijau yang ada satu genggam di tangan dia..Terkejut sya! haha...

Me     : Aik, kenapa ko buang? 

Student : cikgu bilang ada taik hidung....

Me     : Cikgu main2 seja ba tu..
Student  : Nda apa la cikgu, mungkin taik hidung juga sebab masin...

Me      : ?????? ( Rasa bsalah sya ni tau...hahaha )

Back to work

Yeay, I'm back to work (School)..

I don't know what to say but kalu sya cuti, sya mo p kerja, kalu sya kerja, sya mo cuti..

huhu.. amciam la ni kan..

Monday 4th July : 

I suppose to be back at school but that day is "cuti peristiwa" sempena 1murid1sukan (1M1S)

Tuesday 5th July :

Went to class, and observe practical teacher.. jadi mentor kpd practical teacher..

wakaka..lucu2, teringat zaman sya jadi guru praktikal dlu.. :)

Wednesday 6th July:

1st Day School Sporst Day :) di padang skola ja, okay la tu

Thursday 7th July :

2nd Day School Sports Day di UMS :) 

me in AJK hadiah  team so ble bergilir2 then sempat lg balik rumah kasi susu Khloe..

Tomorrow 8th July :

Cuti peristiwa ..yeay :)

and 10 more days to go hehe..

Buli tahan la penat dia ni minggu, mana lagi mo p skul, urus2 lg urusan d rumah..huhu..

Penat tapi happy :)

Teaching anniversary

Today 10th of November 2010 is my 2nd year of teaching..

10th November 2008 yang duuuuuuuuuulu seems to be yesterday..

Teaching anniversary

Today 10th of November 2010 is my 2nd year of teaching..

SMK Bandaraya Shines

It's been a week since the SINDEX competition :D 

Well, saja mau post pasal "SMK Bandaraya Shines "
And actually ada mau crita disebalik kegembiraan yang kamurang nmpk d newspaper tu.. 
and it's about the reporter/ photographer ( sya pun tidak tau apa jawatan dia) of this Daily Express..
After the announcement of victory tu, kami smua bgambar la bkumpulan ramai2 dkt bwh pentas sana, coz mmg byk jg photographer suru kami bgambar.. 
Then tiba-tiba ada saturang lelaki dari Daily Express ni teriak kami infront of many people/ photographer yang lain, he said "Group photo ble ambik nanti, saya mau buat interview lagi.. U all just wasting my time.. bla bla "
then kami yg tengah berposing senyum lebar pun tkejut, n blur.. 
tapi buat selamba ja bgambar jg dgn photographer yang lain..
How rude!! budus btul.. Dia tiada pun pernah cakap mau interview sebelum kami bgambar.. 
kalau mau interview tu tanya la ba bagus2, nah kan bikin malu diri sendiri ja dpn org ramai.. 

Then, most of the results and news yang dia tulis sini pun salah.. so sad.. 
Actuali kami cuma dapat tu Piala Pusingan Ketua Menteri ja and RM2000 tu mmg tiada.. 
suda telefon SINDEX lg..

Sabun Jintan kami dapat silver medal ja and yang menang Piala Ketua Menteri is bcoz jumlah keseluruhan medal kami :D dua EMAS, dua PERAK and dua GANGSA, mengalahkan SM Sains Lahad Datu yang ada dua EMAS tapi tiada perak n gangsa...

and bukan guna pati buah naga..huh! 

So sad, suda la rude then salah2 lagi dia tulis.. bikin panas... huh...

kalu sya artis, taik la sya mau layan org rude mcm tu... 

paduli la nda masuk newspaper yang penting tidak kena layan and tulis yang bukan2.

but never mind, buang yang keruh ambik yang jernih..banyakkan bersabar :D [fullstop]

Well, let me talk about what makes me so busy :D

Yea, the preparation for SINDEX ( Sabah Invention and Design Exhibition )..

It's about nurturing young creative minds :D

As a teacher, I want to help my students to develop their minds and think creatively & independent ..

so, I'm trying my best as long as they call me a teacher :D

My form 1 Science students ( 4 of them ) sda pikir2 about kerusi yang ble lipat and masuk dalam meja and meja pun ble lipat and senang diangkat.. so meja and kerusi yang dilipat together-together senang diangkat :D 

so it makes them easier to carry and cuma satu kali ja angkat 2 benda tu kan... daripada angkat kerusi dulu baru angkat lagi meja.. nah sengsara ba tu :D

They asked me how to make it fold-able.. so sya pun discuss wif hubby and hubby helped me out :D

with the engineering drawing and buat itu prototaip :D

So, this invention was shortlisted in west-coast division and State Level.. :D yeah :D

And the result!!!!!!!!!!.... (drum, drum ... hahaha )

For West-Coast Division, we won 1ST RUNNER UP ( Lower Secondary ) for OFFICE & EDUCATION CATEGORY ..

For State Level, we won BRONZE MEDAL :D

and 

yang paling BEST :D

Surprisingly and unpredictable, our school WON the 

MOST OUTSTANDING SCHOOL YAB Chief Minister of SABAH Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman's Challenge Trophy..

Piala pusingan tu :D wuahahaha :D so happy.. because awards yang lain2 for example; the most marketable product, the best prototype, the most Excellent School, etc, kami tidak menang, so tidak sangka AWARD yang paling besar tu kami menang.. wohoho... ( ^_^)

So happy tadi dengar the announcement, sampai melompat2 pengetua kami.. and sya pun secara reflek terteriak and berdiri and lari pg depan ambik gambar.. wuahahaha :D 

skali kena suru pula naik pentas sama2 pengetua and became the highlight :D wuahahaha :D

Sorry for restricted my blog for a while :)
*gatal tangan sya tu hari pg adjust2 tu html layout, then layout jadi buruk, tpaksa tukar baru, but busy then tpaksa kasi tutup utk sementara waktu :)

Yeah, just came back from Lahad Datu :)

As I have mentioned here earlier, I will be going to Lahad Datu :)
Hubby and I decided to drive to Lahad Datu with our Lovi
It is almost 1000 km return trip ( kk-ranau-lahad datu-sandakan-ranau- kk ) and lovi just need RM120.00 for her 'minuman'.. hahaha... ( really2 jimat )
And most of all, I really Thank God for the safe journey & memorable one too :)

About the "Anugerah", I am so happy and proud :)
I bet my team & Pengetua oso feel the same way too :)


Each of us received both of these :)

Brand new start :)

Today is 1st of December 2009 and I feel wanna have a brand new start..
I dont know wut kind of brand new start but I just feel that I need to..
*bengong.. pernah ka kamurang rasa begitu?? emm...

Well, for the beginning, I've changed my PencilCase.. huahua..
For me,a teacher, this is very2 important,
it is as important as a tool for an engineer,
and as important as a stethoscope for a doctor..

Hubi kasi suggestion pakai ja tu kotak tu,
coz kadang2 kan sya suka ba kasi tinggal tu pencilcase.. huahua..
( walaupun besar, tapi slalu tertinggal di meja2 orang lain.. )

So, this is my 1st brand new start ( i guess ) supaya sya lebih bersemangat mengajar and buat kerja..huahua..

The bad news is -
About 40 students had been quarantine as they were expected to be infected by H1N1 virus ..
My God.. Hopefully they will recover soon ..

The good news is -
Our school will be close from now 26th of July til 2nd of August 2009..
That's mean holiday for 1 week.. huahua.. :) buli la sya buat keja sya yg tertunggak ni ..

SPP Interview

Yay.. this morning,
I just went for SPP ( Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Pelajaran )Interview
at Bahagian Pendidikan Guru ( BPG ) Gaya..

This interview is for 'pengesahan jawatan' sebagai guru.. hihi :)

Well, to be honest, I get totally blank and didn't get to answer all the questions very well..huhu *sad
Want to share wif you ( guru2 yg mo pg sah jawatan )
My interviewer is Mdm Harvinder Kaur. She's a very pleasant dan kind woman. ;) wink

Soalan2 yg ditanya ;

1) Terangkan diri anda- pengalaman belajar dan bekerja

2) I told her that I'm a "Guru Disiplin" at my school, she's like "What? how come?" and i answered her.. bla bla bla...
then she asked - "Bagaimana dan apakah peranan anda sebagai guru disiplin? " -
" Apakah cabaran yang telah anda hadapi di sekolah sebagai guru disiplin?"
( Interviewer mmg akan kaitkan apa jawapan kamu untuk buat soalan ..huh! )

3 ) PPSMI ( Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran Sains & Matematik dalam bahasa Inggeris )
- ( Mmg sya sda jangka coz ajar sains n maths kan..huhu .. )
"Apakah cabaran yang anda hadapi semasa PPSMI?"
"Bagaimanakah anda mengatasi masalah ini? " (
Adoi2.. blank2 btul sya.. mcm2 la sya ckp, pelajar susah mau tangkap konsep sains & m3, then caranya ajar pakai kaedah inkuiri.. hoho .. and etc )

4 ) PIPP ( Pelan Induk Pembangunan Pendidikan ) huh.. Soalannya berbunyi begini "Tau PIPP??" pastu sya ckp "tau"
" Apakah matlamat PIPP ? "
